Position: Composite Fitter / Trimmer : Day & Night Shifts Positions Available
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Full time permanent employment and long-term sub-contractor positions available
Hours: Day Shift: 41.25 core hours per-week 07:00 – 15:45 Monday – Friday (+ additional hours subject to requirements)
The Role: Reporting into the Trim Team Leader. This role is to support the Team Leader in the efficient running of the department by meeting job timescales and demands, whilst completing jobs to the highest of standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Prep and trim composite components by hand using air cutting tools
- Prep and bond components using adhesives and fixtures
- Drilling / tapping / fitting inserts to holes
- Finishing of components prior to inspection
- Follow work instructions and procedures
Key skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Experience of using hand and air tools
- Ability to follow work instructions and read technical drawings
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Have experience in a fast paced / high pressure industry
- Capable of listening to and following instructions
- Capable of reaching set targets within given time
- Previous experience in F1 and Motorsports desirable
Pay Rates: Dependent on experience
